Masi Collective — Refund, Credit & Transfer Policy

At Masi Collective, our events are intentionally small and thoughtfully prepared. Because of the limited capacity and advance planning involved, we have established the following Refund, Credit, and Transfer Policy to ensure fairness and operational sustainability for all families.

Please review this policy carefully before completing your registration.

1. Refund Policy (No Refunds)

Masi Collective does not offer refunds for any reason.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Illness

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Weather concerns

  • Change of plans

  • Late arrivals or no-shows

  • Duplicate bookings

This policy ensures fairness to all families and allows Masi to support partner venues, staff, and materials that are prepared in advance.

2. Ticket Transfers

If you can no longer attend an event, you may transfer your ticket to another family at any time before the event begins.

To transfer a ticket, please notify Masi by email or message so we can update attendance lists.

3. Emergency Credit Policy (Up to Two Credits Per Calendar Year)

We understand that unexpected situations can happen with little ones.
To support families while maintaining fairness and consistency, Masi allows:

Up to two (2) emergency credits per family per calendar year,

as long as Masi is notified at least 24 hours before the event start time.

Emergency credits:

  • Must be requested 24+ hours before the event

  • Must be used within 90 days

  • Are granted at Masi’s discretion

  • Cannot be exchanged for a refund

  • Do not guarantee space in future sold-out events

Examples of qualifying emergencies include:

  • Sudden illness

  • Family emergencies

  • Unforeseen circumstances preventing attendance

4. No Credits After Two Emergencies

Once a family has used two emergency credits in a calendar year, no additional credits will be issued for any reason.

This policy ensures equitable participation across all families.

5. No Credits Within 24 Hours of the Event

If Masi receives notice less than 24 hours before the event, a credit will not be issued.
This is due to:

  • Limited capacity

  • Advance preparation of materials

  • Coordination with partner venues

6. Masi Event Cancellations

In the rare event that Masi Collective must cancel an event due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Safety concerns

  • Venue issues

  • Staffing or partner-related circumstances

  • Unexpected operational needs

Families will receive either:

  • A rescheduled date, or

  • A credit toward a future Masi event

No refunds will be issued.

7. How to Request a Transfer or Emergency Credit

Families may contact Masi directly at:

  • Family name

  • Event name and date

  • Whether you are requesting a transfer or an emergency credit

  • Name of the family receiving the transfer (if applicable)

8. Agreement to Policy

By completing registration for any Masi event, families acknowledge and agree to this Refund, Credit & Transfer Policy.
