Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By registering for and participating in any Masi Collective event, program, workshop, or activity, I (“Participant” or “Parent/Guardian”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Masi Collective events involves activities that may include movement, play, interaction with other children and families, use of shared materials, and participation in indoor or outdoor environments.

I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Minor injuries (scrapes, bumps, falls)
Exposure to illnesses common in group settings
Allergic reactions
Accidental property damage

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation for myself and my child(ren).

2. Parental Responsibility & Supervision

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for supervising my child(ren) at all times during Masi Collective events unless otherwise explicitly stated.

I agree to ensure that my child(ren) participate in activities appropriate for their abilities and needs.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Masi Collective, LLC, its owners, contractors, volunteers, partners, venues, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in Masi Collective activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Medical Acknowledgment

I certify that my child(ren) are physically able to participate in Masi Collective activities. I understand that Masi Collective does not provide medical care.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Masi Collective to seek emergency medical assistance if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.

5. Photography & Media (If Applicable)

I understand that photography or video may occur at events. My consent regarding media use is provided separately during registration and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting Masi Collective.

6. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.

7. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By registering for, purchasing, or participating in any Masi Collective event, I acknowledge and agree that:

I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child(ren)
I have read, understand, and agree to this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of myself and my child(ren)
My electronic acceptance during registration constitutes a legally binding agreement
