By accessing our website, registering for events, purchasing services, downloading materials, or otherwise interacting with Masi Collective, LLC (“Masi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, families, customers, and participants in Masi programs, events, and online content.

2. Description of Services

Masi Collective provides:

Bilingual family events and immersion experiences
Educational programming
Digital resources and downloadable materials
Community-based workshops and playdates
Event-related communications and email updates

All services are subject to change, modification, or discontinuation at Masi Collective’s discretion.

3. User Responsibilities

By using Masi services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when registering
Supervise your child(ren) at all events at all times
Follow all posted event rules, policies, and Terms of Participation
Use the website and services in compliance with applicable laws
Refrain from misuse, disruption, or interference with services or other participants

4. Event Registrations & Payments

4.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through third-party platforms such as Stripe and Luma. Masi Collective does not store or have access to full payment card details.

4.2 Confirmation & Communication

You are responsible for providing a valid email address to receive confirmations, updates, and event-related communications.

4.3 Cancellations, Credits & Transfers

All event purchases are governed by Masi Collective’s Refund, Credit, and Transfer Policy, which is provided at checkout and incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Masi does not offer refunds for any reason.

4.4 Event Availability

Event capacity is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for one event does not guarantee availability for future events.

5. Intellectual Property

All content created by Masi Collective—including logos, branding, guides, worksheets, handouts, photos, videos, event materials, and website content—is the exclusive property of Masi Collective and protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not:

Reproduce
Distribute
Modify
Resell
Publish
Create derivative works

without prior written permission from Masi Collective.

Personal, non-commercial use (such as completing activities at home with your child) is permitted.

6. Digital Products and Downloads

If Masi Collective offers digital products:

Access is granted for personal family use only
Sharing, redistribution, or resale is prohibited
Masi is not responsible for technical issues caused by third-party platforms
Digital products are non-refundable

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Disclaimer

Participation in Masi Collective events is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Masi Collective disclaims liability for:

Injuries, accidents, or incidents during events
Illness, allergic reactions, or medical conditions
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
Actions or omissions of third-party venues, partners, or vendors
Website downtime or service interruptions
Misuse of digital materials

Participation is subject to Masi Collective’s Liability Waiver, which is required for event attendance.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

Masi may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:

Stripe
Luma
Squarespace
Social media platforms
Partner venues

Masi Collective is not responsible for the content, functionality, or privacy practices of third-party services.

9. User Accounts & Subscriptions (If Applicable)

If user accounts, memberships, or subscriptions are offered:

You agree to provide accurate information
You are responsible for maintaining account security
Masi may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms

10. Termination of Services

Masi Collective reserves the right to:

Refuse service
Cancel registrations
Remove participants from events
Suspend or terminate website access

at its discretion, particularly for policy violations, unsafe behavior, or misuse of services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Masi Collective, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from:

Your use of Masi services
Your participation in events
Your violation of these Terms

12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

13. Changes to Terms

Masi Collective may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective Date” reflects the most current version. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
